Istanbul (piano version)
We decided to recorded a piano version of one of our tracks that features on our new 7 track mini album. This version is very different to the album one.
By the time we come to release the album this track will almost definitely have a different title. As I write songs and ideas I call them random things just to remind me which ones which. Titles can be anything from posters on my wall that I looked at when first drafting the idea or the location I was in. The title here refers to the latter. The title is something that always comes last for us. Reason being the song usually takes such a huge transformation from its first state to its final. Ideas change, grow, get chucked or sometimes disappear completely. I love that this is how we’ve come to write our songs.
