Ike and Tina
A while ago we wrote about our two new flatmates we were soon to have. Well…here they are:
Two terrapins, which due to ones abuse to the other are currently called Ike and Tina.
I wasn’t sure what to expect before receiving them but I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They are actually incredibly responsive to human beings and in a weird way do seem to get to know you on some level.
On a different note, we have been working hard to get our set together and are currently working up to our first show. Its mid november time in east london…more details will soon follow. Having all spent the last few years of our lives making music, we’ve learnt a lot. As anyone in any kind of creative field will tell you, it is a constant series of ups and downs. We’ve concentrated on our songs and making them the best they can be rather than rushing into trying to get out there, a mistake we’ve made before. There are definately easier career paths as well as harder ones, ultimately we do this because if we didn’t, we’d have nothing to strive for.
As I write this Ike and Tina are staring at me, they either want me to change the channel or they want feeding. I’ll do both just to be sure.
