Road Trip
Last year I had the pleasure of going to End Of The Road festival. This year we better ourselves. End Of The Road then a short road trip where we’ll arrive at Bestival the weekend after. I cannot wait. We’ll be taking a leaf out of Hunter S Thompson’s book for these few days.

Today we released a three track record on ITunes. We’re proud of it and thankful to all of those that helped/supported and continue to support. So a sincere thank you to you.
We’re now working on our next record which will be a 7 track album with some possible collaborations and remixes on too. This is set to be released within the next couple of months but we want to get it right so...

Subba Cultcha
Here’s a link to a recent article about us on the Subba Cultcha blog.
When I saw they had posted this, I had an incredible feeling of contentment. Subba Cultcha (for those that don’t know) is an online blog mainly concerning music. When I was younger it was one of the blogs that I’d always go to to find new music or to read reviews, that kind of thing. Anyway for those that...

End Of The Road
Everyday for the last week, at some point I’ve found myself staring at my computer screen trying to write this blog. Last weekend I was lucky enough to go to End Of The Road festival. It was one of the greatest weekends of my life. I tried to write a day by day account of my time there, but it didn’t come across right. I guess for me its impossible to put into words something that was...

Monsoons And Remixes
Lately we’ve been fortunate enough to have people remixing our tracks and doing their own thing with them. Our friend Error Operator had a go at ‘Christine (part ii)’ and here is the result

He’s an incredibly talented guy and I love what he’s done with it. I think it captures the hope of the song...

The Notebook
For the last few days I have done pretty much nothing but write. This creative patch has also led me to go through my old notebooks in which I used to scribble lyrics or grand master plans. As it turns out most of those plans weren’t as grand as I had initially thought.
I did however find this passage from a spoken part in a song we used to do
….it meant an awful lot to me and I...
Home Tattooing/Desiderata
A few weeks ago I had a new tattoo done. Differently to my previous ones this particular one was done in the comfort of my own home. It was a strange experience but I loved it. I was lucky enough to meet an artist through a friend of a friend on a friday night and by sunday I was lying on my couch with a needle on my chest. He did a great job. We listened to The National, drank lemonade and...

A Free Guide To Lift Etiquette
Before I start, this is not a free guide to lift etiquette. It is however about my experiences of lifts and you will get something free at the end of this.
I live in a block of flats, being on the fifth floor out of a possible twenty-three means I could take the stairs if I wanted without some kind of major injury, it also means that the lift is always going to be the realistic option.
On an...

Finally I’ve made it home for christmas. Saying finally makes it sound like I’ve been on some kind of travels filled with obstacles and overcoming hurdles. To be honest, I haven’t. But I have however had a week that’s been clouded by friends, good spirits and mainly alcohol. It has led me to feel not so healthy, but I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
There’s...

I must have been about 12 when my uncle came round with a cassette tape for me. TDK-90 with Sgt Peppers on one side and Revolver on the other. I had heard the Beatles before but hadn’t really ever listened until then. Everything was about to change.
This is a story for another time.
The first time Lennon’s solo work really hit me was when I heard Instant Karma. It didn’t bother me that Yoko was...

This was an important day for us. Our first show. It went like this…
From the offset we decided we wanted our first show to be in a familiar place, a low key event with people we knew. The use of laptops, samplers etc was a new venture for all of us and is always a worry when it comes to playing shows. In any band that any of us have been in before, it would have taken an awful lot to stop...
A Month
It’s not that I haven’t been here for the last few weeks, but every time I have visited this website I’ve been taken back looking at work that friends have made, writings, photos, sketches, music, anything and everything really. In turn I forget myself to write or post something. Much to my surprise a month has passed since we last posted anything. When something is a month away,...

Ike and Tina
A while ago we wrote about our two new flatmates we were soon to have. Well…here they are:
Two terrapins, which due to ones abuse to the other are currently called Ike and Tina.
I wasn’t sure what to expect before receiving them but I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They are actually incredibly responsive to human beings and in a weird way do seem to get to know you...

Room 205
Firstly, I apologise for a lack of posts in the last couple of weeks….it has been due to busy schedules and never happening to find something to write about at the right time. None of us wanted this blog to ever be forced but more something we share when we think its something worth sharing. Sometimes we’re lucky and get inspiration everyday, at other times it takes a bit more digging...

The 'talking' man
There’s something amazing about sitting in a room full of people that aren’t really friends, they’re not really family but at the same time not strangers either. Acquaintances I guess would be the right word, that seems so formal and this is a far but formal situation.
Everyone here is here for the same reason, to see one person. The person in question is someone I happen to be...
